A team of researchers from the Australian University of Adelaide has just demonstrated in a study that an ancient herbal remedy of traditional Chinese medicine is tremendously effective at destroying tumor cells. The herbal compound is approved in the Asian country for the treatment of various kinds of cancers, and is commonly used alongside "western" chemotherapy.
