The Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) today warned of the danger that "pseudociences", substances, therapies and "miracle" products against cancer may have, from which it claims that there is "no" preclinical or clinical evidence effectiveness.

The SEOM warns of the risks of these therapies and products and stresses that for a treatment strategy to be effective, it must pass a developmental stages that "establish the scientific evidences, as much of efficacy as of security, and quality of life" that are essential For use in clinical practice.
